We had a very good experience with this place. There was a certain aspect that was not properly scanned in Sagar Hospital for us. Then we went to this place as after a friend told about this place. Got same scanning done. Reports were much clearer. Our doctor appreciated their work. We went to this place without any appointment. Explained our situation that our scanning is time sensitive and has to be done in same week. They accommodated us. We had wait for about 2-3 hours. We were okay with waiting period as we had taken a day off from work and went there with no appointment. Dr Akhila did our work. Doctor showed a lot of patience. Report was was detailed. The main idea of ultrasound scan is to detect any problems with the baby during pregnancy. Dr. Preethi Venkatesh of Medha Ultrasound, who did the ultrasound scan for me, FAILED to inform that there was a problem with our baby. They are very clever in mentioning that not all anomalies can be detected by the scan. When we went for the scan, she used to mention different things..one day she said that there may be a problem with the brain, and asked us to come several times after that..We went many times..Couple of times she said that there is no problem..the earlier scan was not clear ..that is the reason they had doubts and things like that..We were really confused if we had to continue the pregnancy. Thoroughly unorganized is what Medha Ultrasound is all about. The doctors who run this place might be reputed, but they do not know to handle appointments..!! Despite having an appointment, every patient has to wait for a minimum of 3 to 4 hrs. I have stepped into this center couple of times due to my doctors recommendation and every time returned irritated and fed up with the treatment they dish out. Dr. Preethi venkatesh does not keep up to her time as well. The dr comes late and there's a mad rush post her arrival. Even after a new patient steps in, the dr is busy giving out notes of the previous patient for the assistant to type in. At the same time, another person tries to gather the previous history of the person undergoing the scan.

I had an ultrasoud nt scan appointment with Dr. Akhila at Medha clinic today. I called the clinic an hour before my appointment to ensure I had the right address and the receptionist gave me the news that my appointment had been cancelled as the doctor was unavailable. There was no apologizing what so ever! It was my last day for nt scan and so when I asked them about it all that the receptionist had to tell me was that she was busy and would call me back later. I am extremely appalled by the kind of service and disappointed that they did not even bother telling me until about an hour before the appointment and that was when I called. Well I am NEVER going to this place and absolutely DO NOT recommend this place!
