International Book Service: The oldest bookstore in Pune displaying a vast range of topics. IBS is owned by Mr. Upendra Dixit and has been in existence for the last 79 years. It was a pioneer book store in importing books directly from the UK and US into Pune and has been frequented by prominent leaders and thinkers such as Pandit Nehru, Dr. Ambedkar and Dr. Radhakrishna. The 1500 square foot store allows for browsing in the midst of approximately 26 topics such as Social Sciences, Humanities, Spiritual, Yoga, Occult and Religion. The genres cover the gamut of academic, educational and general reference books and a large number of international research students head here.
