Ram Mohan College: This college offers undergraduate courses, honours as well as general, to meritorious students. Founded by a group of Bramho Samaj leaders, the college adheres to their principles of equal opportunity and academic excellence. Originally known as City College, the name was changed in 1961. The college has recently acquired the heritage property that once belonged to Raja Ram Mohan Roy and his family.
