Bangalore Amateur Riding Institute: BARI was the first school to offer public riding lessons. The Bangalore Amateur Riding Institute conducts classes throughout the year at the Bangalore Turf Club and is one of the oldest riding schools in the country. They are open throughout the week with four batches of half-an-hour duration every day. The fees are nominal. Most Indian jockeys have trained at BARI. Their aim is to inculcate a spirit of adventure and horsemanship.

The best place to hear the thundering of hooves as the horses fly by at full pace. Just love place for what it is... GREEN all over! If your not into riding then the place is great to take a walk as there is no place like it in the city.The special events that happen here are a must see as you can see a diversity of people and culture converge!A must see!
