Serengeti: Experience the only African safari that serves kababs and curries at wild and wacky Serengeti. Dine in the wilderness of this theme resto-park which is a hit with children and grown-ups alike, making it a perfect family destination. While you savour Awadhi delicacies like Kakori Kabab and Nehari Ghost, watch out for a sudden drizzle or a roaring lion eating in the jungle does have a few surprises! Weekends are predictably packed and going without reservations is not advisable.

About 6 of us including 2 kids went into Serengeti restaurant y'day (08/jan/12) to have an early dinner at around 7.45pm. We were initially offered a table, but we saw small cocroaches running around the table and hence asked for another table. They readily agreed to shift us to another table, but to our shock we saw some insects on the plates which were already kept on the table. We had no other choice but to walk out of the place. The place is usually very dark due to its "forest theme" based interiors, hence pls be careful while eating in this place. Chances are that you might not even notice these kind of small insects even of your food. Take care all of you !

Serengiti is worst restaurant..This is the third time we are going to this restuarant.Before 2 years we went there,At that time their response was very good..They were customer friendly and food both veg and nonveg were very good..Ambience is also sooo good..mainly kids will enjoy that... Second time we went before one year..at that time food was good but they delayed for 2 hr..We took buffet lunch they were very slow in service... But this time today we went for lunch there...There was no one to tke care of us...Very worst response..They not even bothered when we came out of their restaurant...As per my opinion,they dnt get proper workers there..Their Silver Metro in the same mall is very good and we took our lunch there...But it seems b ... We just had a team dinner at Serengeti and when the bill came I was surprised to see that they have charged us

(1) Service charge
(2) Service Tax
(3) VAT

This is the first time I have seen that service tax is charged on food. However, the bill did not mention about the Service Tax number which is mandatory as per the law. I seek clarification on the same and the response was rude, arrogant and insulting.

These guys are looting us by charging the service tax on food which is illegal and on top of that not depositing to the govt.

Please be careful while paying the bill as they show you "dont care" attitude one your credit card is swiped and you found such issues.

Horrible service, horrible employees and terrible experience.

Serengeti Ecosystem (One of Ten Natural Travel Wonders of Wild World) Oops Serengeti Restaurant is indeed one of the ten best restaurants in Bangalore! The expereince was wild I mean the ambience ,with many members of the Animal Kingdom in it! Food was very good and tasty ,we ordered all veggie food as we are vegans! I liked the starters that we ordered ,it was corn fry ..I tried it at home! Mixed Veg (broccoli ,baby corn ) was even more tasty! Apart from the food ,though we were grown-ups we returned to child hood days seeing the rains ,bridges ,rhino,elephant,tigers,tortoises and a tribe just at the entrance of the restuarnt! used to b good ,not anymore, the fact that there are only a handful of choices in the city for theme based restaurants probably made these guys complacent,service hovers between sluggish nd okayish,food is passable,the prices in Serengeti is sure to squeeze out any last bit of "serenity" in you.

good place to go with the kids, they have this whole jungle theme which might interest the little ones,apart from that Serengeti is pretty average, the booze is expensive,the food is good but is again expensive.a bit of info here,,serengeti is actually a plain in Tanzania,how they got the whole rainforest idea is quite a mystery..

Good veg and non-veg starters. Little Expensive but the service was good. Jungle Ambiance. Make sure you have your table reserved if going on a weekend as the place was full all the time and there were good number of people waiting outside.
