Hello All I see lot of Bad reviews about the school, Can some one let me know which branch are you talking about, Is the same in Annagar as well? Your replies would help to save my daughters future because am planning to admit her in Chennai Public School in IGCSE syllabus.
The school looks so impressive outside with almost zero experienced teachers. My daughter is doing 1st STD .They won't teach anything in school . The worst management that i have ever seen. It is just the hype they give for the school. They never mind about the quality of education they provide to the kids. Am having a horrible time with the school and planning to change by next year.
Written the comment in a distressed state of mind due to lack of proper communication and misunderstanding..I guess every school will have their policies. Did not mean to be rude.I appologise.
I ve never written a review for any place. But I feel so compelled to write about Chennai public school as it is a seriously pathetic school and future students should not get fooled. I 've put both my children in the hands of useless people who absolutely don't care about anything except money. Apart from meaningless classes where students, teachers and parents don't know whats happening, There is absolutely no respect and concern for parents. This is evident even from totally uncourteous manner of talk when they know that a parent is calling. Speaking from personal experience as an alumni of this school, I have studied class 11 and 12 here which is pretty much the most crucial part of a students life and I PLEAD YOU TO READ THIS BEFORE YOU JOIN YOUR CHILD HERE.(I have not written this to defame the school but only in hope that it may change to support the hype it has developed) .I was a hosteler here and have to say the experience was terrible.
I will start with the education, most teachers are not good and if you want quality education, not the place. After the child joins no personal interest in him/her is shown what so ever. Contacting the principal, or any official whatsoever is a tedious procedure. The rules are very strict and quite old fashioned. ACs hardly work esp

all the teachers are underpaid and therefore they do not have quality teachers. the attitude of teachers is also very bad. since they have got a name now , they just dont care.
i too agree with the above comments. Off late the school has become very lethargic and they just don't address parent's concerns anymore. You go to them with any complaint or concern , it is completely of no use.for eg: if your school bus does not arrive on time repeatedly, and you complain to the management, they very irresponsibly tell you that "if you are not happy with the school transport you can use your own transport".
Getting admission is easy. Should not have any issue.
There is a big hype for this school as their curricular is very good.
Books & clothes are of good quality and very expensive too.
Till few years back toilets were very neat and were maintained in hygienic manner.
However teaching is pathetic. It was not like that before.
My kid studied from the time school started its operations and few teachers were very good.
Now the teaching quality is very poor including their attitude.
Teachers are not interested in teaching for reasons best known to them.
Multiple feedback's given but till date no response.
You cannot meet principal, subject teachers do not respond.
When you meet coordinator, they will say we need to teach in home.

My kid is in XI th std. and she hates to go to School because the teachers She says are not good at all. I am seriously considering other schools.
This school is only interested in maximizing their profits. I don't think there is anything wrong with that but when it comes at the cost of compromising your kid's education the problem starts there.
The school pays teachers very less. Almost all of them are underpaid and hence they do not get GOOD teachers and within a year the Good teachers leave the school and go. Most teachers working here are REJECTS of nearby schools â especially Velammal.

I'm trying to get admission for my children in Anna Nagar branch,CPS branch for Class 4th &3rd but no representative responds in school as they said you will get msg or call after 2 weeks and when I call them they were saying admission finished,iis any can guide to reach admission office or Principal for admission
